Scarnati Hosts Kid Fest 2006

Warren- State Senator Joe Scarnati will be hosting Kid Fest 2006 on Saturday, November 4 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford Campus Sport and Fitness Center. Scarnati hopes the free event will give parents, relatives and friends the chance to not only enjoy one another, but also obtain valuable information that may affect their everyday lives.

"This event is an opportunity for exhibitors to share their resources and expertise on services and programs specifically related to children," said Scarnati. "Our children are our most valuable assets and we want to provide them with every advantage to learn and grow in our communities."

This year's festival will have 40 state and local vendors, including the Bradford City Fire Department, the Erie Zoo, Science in Motion, MacDonald's and Child Care Information Services, including the Child Identification Program.

The event will feature free food and refreshments. A clown, bounce house and face painting are a few of the highlights of this year's entertainment.

"I hope this day will be relaxing, fun and enlightening for everyone," said Scarnati.
