Wellsboro Office to Remain

WARREN—State Senator Joe Scarnati of the 25th District announced that the Wellsboro office will remain open and be operated by existing staff. Due to the retirement of C. Russell Johnson, Scarnati wanted to ensure the people of the Tioga County area that they will continue to be well served.

"It is imperative that legislators are accessible to the citizens whom they represent," Scarnati stated. "I am committed to keep a constant presence in Tioga County until a suitable replacement is found."

Scarnati mentioned that he represents one of the biggest geographical districts east of the Mississippi River and recognizes the significance of an office in this region of his district.

"Without question, it is important to my staff and me that we fully engage ourselves into Tioga County, while not missing a beat," Scarnati noted. "I am confident and comfortable in stating that efforts in attending meetings, manning the office, and other responsibilities will be successful in the interim."
